CS2 charms: small attachments that change a weapon's look
CS2 charms are movable, three-dimensional accessories that hang from a gun rather than covering its finish. You choose where to place a charm, and its position can look different on an AK-47 or AWP. A weapon carries a single charm, with no effect on gameplay. The listings above let you compare individual CS2 weapon charms directly.
You'll also see them called CS2 keychains or Counter-Strike charms. Unlike stickers, they remain separate inventory items when properly detached.
Small Arms, Missing Link and other charm collections
Start with the collection rather than a ranking of the best CS2 charms. Collections have different themes, making them a useful way to browse all CS2 charms:
- Small Arms turns familiar Counter-Strike weapons into miniatures. The Pocket AWP is a compact sniper-rifle model; Die-cast AK evokes the AK silhouette, while Semi-Precious has a gem-like finish. The Baby Karat T takes the idea in a knife-inspired direction.
- Missing Link is the creature-and-character line that includes Hot Howl, Hot Wurst, Diamond Dog and Lil' Whiskers. Its appeal comes from the sculpted figures rather than a replica of a gun.
- Missing Link Community expands the character designs with Workshop-created pieces such as Lil' Boo, Lil' Eldritch, Quick Silver and Lil' Serpent. Some have visible seed-dependent effects.
- Dr. Boom favors explosive and equipment-inspired shapes. The Butane Buddy CS2 charm belongs here, alongside 8 Ball IGL, Lil' Ferno and Glitter Bomb. A bold design does not guarantee a rare seed.
These are separate collections, not finishes of the same item. Market availability depends on sellers' offers, even when a collection is no longer redeemable in the Armory.
CS2 charm patterns, colors and the details behind the price
A regular charm has a pattern index, often called its charm template or seed. Some models use it to vary color, shine or other surface details; others change much less. For example, a Semi-Precious charm can have visibly different gem coloring, and the appearance of a Quick Silver charm also depends on its template. A CS2 charm pattern valued on one model may mean little on another.
Regular charms have no float or Factory New-to-Battle-Scarred exterior scale, unlike many other CS2 inventory items. Their rarity labels include High Grade, Remarkable, Exotic and Extraordinary, but rarity alone cannot describe a specific copy's color.
When comparing offers, check these points in order:
- Model and collection: make sure the listing is the exact charm you searched for, not a similarly named item.
- Pattern and appearance: inspect the individual item if color distribution matters; do not buy from a generic thumbnail alone.
- Rarity and demand: an Extraordinary label describes the item tier, while an unusual seed may create additional collector interest.
- Listed price: compare sellers and sort the results by price before deciding whether a premium for a specific look makes sense.
Detaching a charm does not reroll its pattern; placement is a separate choice.
Attaching, moving and removing a charm in CS2
In your inventory, select the charm, choose a compatible weapon and position the attachment by dragging it onto the model. Charms work alongside stickers without becoming part of the paint.
To move an applied charm to another gun, use a Charm Detachment. That action returns the charm to your inventory so you can attach it again. Detachment is not the same as scraping a sticker: the charm itself survives and keeps its identity and pattern. Check that you have a Charm Detachment in your game inventory before moving the item.
When matching a loadout, consider the weapon's colors and how visible the hanging model will be. It remains a purely cosmetic choice.
Where charms come from, including Souvenir Highlights
Regular charms originate from Armory collections and can be obtained through the Armory when their collection is offered there. They can also be traded or purchased directly from another player's listings. They are not ordinary drops from weapon cases, so opening a rifle-skin case is not a route to a specific Small Arms or Missing Link charm.
Souvenir Highlight charms are a separate type tied to memorable plays from Counter-Strike Majors. Each carries a video clip of its featured moment. Separate from Armory collections, they have been offered through Major souvenirs and the Major Shop. Search by event and highlight, not by an Armory model name.
Buying and selling CS2 charms on white.market
Use the charm listings on this page as your starting point. Use price, rarity, collection and search controls to narrow the grid. Search for a specific design by name.
- Choose the collection or enter the exact charm name, then compare the matching listings.
- Sort by price and inspect the selected item, especially when a distinctive template matters.
- Before buying, check the final item details and available delivery information shown for that offer.
- To sell, select the charm from your tradable inventory, review its pattern and set the listing terms you accept.
A charm works alongside Name Tags without changing the finish. Check the actual item, not only its default preview.
FAQ about CS2 charms
Were weapon charms available in CS:GO?
No. The charm attachment system was introduced in Counter-Strike 2, not the original CS:GO. Searches for CSGO charms generally lead to the modern CS2 item category.
Do CS2 charms have StatTrak versions?
No. Regular weapon charms do not have a StatTrak kill counter. Their collectible attributes are the model, rarity and, when visually relevant, the pattern index.
Can I attach a charm to a default weapon without buying a skin?
Yes. Charms attach to compatible weapons, not only to painted skins. Choose a placement that works with the weapon model, and remember that moving the charm later requires detachment.
