About the Kukri Knife CS2
The Kukri Knife CS2 is the first knife model Valve introduced for Counter-Strike 2 instead of carrying it over from CS:GO, and it arrived with the Kilowatt Case in the A Call to Arms update. The shape comes from the Nepalese kukri: a wide blade bent forward, with the mass sitting ahead of the grip. It also has one of the widest flats in the catalogue - closer in that respect to the Bowie Knife than to the folding models - so the deploy and inspect animations swing through an arc rather than flick. In the CS2 knife catalogue it belongs to the gold star tier, even though the item card here and on Steam still labels it Covert. There is no CS:GO version either: the model shipped after CS:GO was replaced, so anything sold as a Kukri Knife CS:GO is the same CS2 item.
The Kukri finish pool
Every Kukri finish comes from the original knife pool, the same set the Shattered Web knives use, which makes the Survival Knife, the Nomad Knife and the Skeleton Knife its closest relatives in the catalogue. There are no phases on this model and no gem finishes: no Doppler, no Gamma Doppler, no Marble Fade, no Tiger Tooth. Here, buyers choose between pattern and wear.

Where Kukri Knife prices come from
Three columns do most of the work, and the finish name is not one of them. Pattern index: on Case Hardened it sets how much blue lands where the player actually sees it, and the Kukri's broad flat gives a seed more room to show than a narrow blade does; on Crimson Web it sets web count and placement. Float: it is fixed at drop and never moves, and the wear range is defined per finish rather than per knife, so some spray-paint camouflages begin above the Factory New floor and their cleanest copies still read higher than a Fade or a Blue Steel can. StatTrak: it exists across the pool, including the uncoated version, and trades at a premium in a much thinner market.
Against the rest of the catalogue, the Kukri sits mid-pool, above the small-blade models and below the Karambit and Butterfly Knife tier. Among Kukri finishes, the camouflages are the cheap end. How Kukri Knives reach the market
Two collections carry the model in their rare special slot: the Kilowatt Case, where it debuted, and the Gallery Case, added later with the same finish pool. A Gallery Kukri and a Kilowatt Kukri are the same item.
Cases are no longer the only source. A trade-up contract filled with Covert skins from a single collection returns a gold-tier item from that collection, and neither Kukri collection has gloves competing for that slot, so a contract fed entirely with Kilowatt reds (AK-47 | Inheritance, AWP | Chrome Cannon) or Gallery reds (M4A1-S | Vaporwave, Glock-18 | Gold Toof) comes back a Kukri with a random finish. All-StatTrak inputs return a StatTrak knife, and the output float is calculated from the input floats, so clean inputs are what buy a clean exterior.

Is there a StatTrak Kukri Knife?
Yes, on every finish and on the uncoated version. StatTrak listings are fewer, so the choice of exterior and pattern among them is narrower than on the plain items.
Why does the uncoated Kukri cost more than the camouflages?
Demand rather than rarity. It has no pattern lottery and no wear grades to spread buyers across, so everyone who wants the bare blade competes for the same single version.
Does the Kukri change anything in a round?
No. Knife damage and speed are identical across models and finishes in CS2. What changes is the model, the animations and the sound.
How do I check a Crimson Web before paying for it?
Open the inspect view from the listing and look at where the webs sit. The seed is not part of the item name, so the spine and the flat have to be read by eye, which is why two Crimson Webs in the same exterior can be priced far apart.
