General

white.market is a CS2 skins trading marketplace. It works similarly to the well-known Steam market. Because of this advantage, prices are lower than on the Steam market. Both sellers and buyers can profit from it. Furthermore, our system protects users' funds during trading and payment. You must be 18 years old and own a Steam account to use our site.

To create an account, simply log in using your Steam credentials. This will automatically link your Steam account to our platform.

To begin trading, follow these steps:
  1. Verify your email address to secure your account.
  2. Ensure that your Steam privacy settings and inventory are set to "Public".
  3. Enter your Steam Trade URL to connect your Steam inventory.
  4. For selling, provide your Steam API key to enable automated transactions.
  5. Make sure you have white.market chrome extension or mobile app installed.
Once these steps are completed, you’ll be ready to start trading skins on our platform!

Steam Trade URL is an account-specific link facilitating the exchange of Steam items. When you have your Steam Trade URL, the exchange process is easier and more convenient. You can find it here

Yes, it is. white.market guarantees that it does not share your Steam API Key with third parties. It is used by our platform only to protect your transaction. Your Steam API key will not allow us to transfer your skin to another user because the final decision on the transfer of the trade is made by the user in Steam Guard.

The Chrome extension enhances transaction security by managing incoming and outgoing offers on the skins trading platform. It helps you confirm offers personally through Steam Guard. Alternatively, you can use our mobile app for the same functionality.

We can’t retrieve your email address from Steam, so you’ll need to provide one separately. It doesn’t have to be the same email you use for Steam. We need your email to send you important notifications and alerts, ensuring you stay updated on your account activity, offers, and other essential information.

  1. Go to your Profile Settings.
  2. Click on Edit Email and enter your new email address.
  3. A verification letter will be sent to the new address.
  4. Enter the verification code from the email to confirm the change.
Once verified, your email address will be updated.

You can request to have your account deleted through our support team.

Know Your Customer (KYC) is the process of user verification implemented by various financial institutions. It is designed to protect them against fraudulent activity, money laundering, or terrorist financing.

It usually takes 10 to 30 seconds. If there are any issues or rejections, it may take an hour or two. In very rare cases, it can take up to a day.

Issues are handled individually through our support team. Please reach out for assistance.

Fee for sellers is 5% per skin, minimum $0,01. There are no fees for buyers.

After the CS2 (CS:GO) update from March 30th, 2018, CS2 (CS:GO) items are automatically locked for 7 days after they have been traded. The tradelock always ends at 7 a.m. (GMT) of (or after) the last day of tradelock. In the worst case, the tradelock can actually last for 8 days. Skins with tradelock cannot be put up for sale, as the seller cannot transfer the skin to the buyer.

  1. Go to inventory (where your skins on sale are).
  2. Click the skin you want to edit.
  3. Enter a new price and click "Change price"

  1. Go to inventory (where your skins on sale are).
  2. Click the skin you want to cancel.
  3. Click the "Remove from sale" button.

There are multiple reasons why you might not be receiving any trade offers:
  1. If you have recently changed or installed the Steam Authenticator. This usually happens after you activate the Authenticator for the first time or when you change your phone/phone number. Changing the Steam password also leads to a temporary trading ban. You can get more information about this if you try to trade on Steam.
  2. If your trade link that was set up in your white.market profile is not valid anymore. Make sure that the trade link set in your white.market profile is identical to the one on Steam.
  3. If you’ve received a VAC, trade, or community ban. This means that your account cannot execute any trades anymore. If you have already bought any items, please contact our support team.
  4. If your Inventory is full. It can contain up to 1000 items. If you have already reached that limit, you need to clear your inventory to fit the items you want to receive.

The transaction expires if the seller does not accept the offer within 12 hours after clicking the Buy now button. It may also mean that the seller has canceled the offer.

  1. Before you give an item to a buyer, check if this deal is active on the white.market website, and also if the user and the account that white.market shows you (nickname, picture, and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, the date of registration on Steam) match; it is the date that scammers cannot fake, unlike their pictures and nicknames).
Important: you should have only ONE trade request from a buyer (scammers often cancel the trade made on the platform and try to send a new one). Never accept such trades and immediately report such buyers to the support team.
  2. You should not add sellers and buyers as friends, as well as chat with them on Steam. We do not recommend any communication outside our marketplace, as we cannot guarantee the good intentions of all users. Do not share your trade link or API Key with anyone, and do not follow any links that Steam users send you, even if they sell items on our platform.
  3. Before entering your login and password, make sure that you are on white.market. This will help you avoid phishing. Scammers would often make a copy of a platform with a slightly different address in order to get users’ data. The same goes for Steam: make sure that you are on steamcommunity.com before doing anything. We recommend that you add both addresses to your favorites and enter them using previously created bookmarks in the browser.

white.market is not responsible for the actions of users outside our marketplace. If users carefully read and follow all the recommendations above, then they have nothing to worry about. Stay alert and take care of your skins.
