CS2 Skins Market Weekly – Cases Heat Up, Rifles Rotate and 2025’s Elite Shape 2026 (Dec 29, 2025)

This week, the market leaned into long-term bets. Below we break down this week’s top gainers, biggest losers and how next year’s tournament map plus 2025’s standout players can feed straight into skin demand.

Top Gainers

Sealed Genesis Terminal | +16.98%

Sealed items are pure speculation, and this one is now front and center. More traders are choosing to stash instead of open, so active supply shrinks fast. With each small buy, the floor steps up. Before joining the hoard, check how many sealed copies are actually listed.

CS:GO Weapon Case | +15.71%

Nostalgia plus low remaining supply is a strong mix. CS:GO Weapon Case keeps pulling long-term collectors who want “museum” inventory, not just play skins. Any talk about removals or historic drops sends fresh money here. If you’re late, compare different stacks and avoid paying a premium when cheaper lots are still up on P2P platforms.

AK-47 | The Empress (Well-Worn) | +14.72%

Tarot-style AK with name value and strong art. WW condition keeps the price way lower than FN or MW, but the pattern still reads well in first person. This week’s move looks like budget traders and craft enjoyers piling back in. Expect better-looking WW copies to separate from rough ones, so inspect each skin closely before you buy.

M4A1-S | Cyrex (Field-Tested) | +9.58%

Clean red-and-black rifle still doing its job. FT Cyrex sits in that sweet middle: affordable, readable, and easy to pair with modern agents. As other M4A1-S options bounce around, Cyrex quietly climbs on steady demand from ranked and FACEIT players. Watch how much FT supply is left under the new floor; once it thins, the next leg up gets easier.

M4A1-S | Solitude (Factory New) | +7.29%

Solitude had a brutal dump earlier in the month; now FN copies are getting a small rebound. Collectors and speculators often hunt for “oversold” skins with clean, minimalist looks, and FN Solitude fits that story. This still feels like early recovery, not full reversal. Check recent FN sales and don’t confuse a small bounce with a full trend change.

Top Losers

M4A1-S | Mecha Industries (Minimal Wear) | −14.81%

Mecha Industries took the heaviest hit among rifles this week. It’s a long-standing favorite, which also means many people hold it and are ready to undercut when sentiment cools. A wave of lower asks reset the MW floor. If you’re holding, compare your float and stickers to the absolute cheapest copies on white.market before you dump into the red.

AK-47 | Jaguar (Field-Tested) | −13.91%

Jaguar slipped as traders rotated into flashier options like The Empress and Case Hardened. FT condition is playable but no longer “special” when the market is chasing art skins and blue-gem patterns. This looks more like demand drifting away than some big news event. If you like Jaguar for personal use, this is a better entry zone than a few weeks ago.

M4A4 | Desolate Space (Field-Tested) | −12.66%

Desolate Space keeps trending down after earlier weakness. The art is still strong, but attention has shifted toward more modern sci-fi looks and cleaner designs. FT copies got undercut repeatedly, dragging the average with them. For traders, this is a “wait for stabilization” chart; for collectors, it’s a chance to pick up nicer floats cheap, if you’re patient.

Sir Bloody Darryl Royale | The Professionals | −9.57%

Agent skins move on map pools and pro usage, and this week Darryl lost some ground. Fewer people are switching up CT agents while they focus on weapon loadouts tied to top players. Agent markets are thin, so a handful of sales at lower prices show up as a deep percentage move. Check market offers to see if this is one big seller or a real broad reset.

Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo (Factory New) | −8.37%

Old-school budget classic with a red week. FN Dragon Tattoo has been a starter pistol skin for years, but newer Glock designs and general market fatigue pulled buyers away. The drop isn’t huge, more like a slow bleed. If you want a simple, low-key pistol that still feels “OG,” this dip may be enough to start building a small stack – just make sure you’re buying near the true floor, not mid-range listings.

CS2 Highlights

As always, we are keeping our finger on the pulse of the scene.

HLTV Top 20 players of 2025

HLTV has begun releasing its official Top 20 Players of 2025 ranking, showcasing the best individual CS2 performers of the year. Among the announced names are two players from Natus Vincere: iM, who placed 19th, and b1t, who finished 20th. Their inclusion highlights their strong seasons and continues NAVI’s long-standing tradition of featuring in HLTV’s annual top player lists.

PGL moves 2026 arena event to Bucharest

PGL shifted its big October 2026 CS2 event from Belgrade to Bucharest and rebranded it as PGL Masters Bucharest 2026. Dates moved slightly earlier (October 24-31), with 12 top teams getting invites based on Valve Regional Standings plus open and closed qualifiers in September. Format: BO3 Swiss into BO3 single-elim playoffs, with a BO5 Grand Final.

If you trade around events, mark those 2026 dates now. As we get closer, watch which teams sit high in VRS and track their preferred AK, AWP and pistol skins.
