Supplemental Terms for Digital Gift Cards
Date of publication: June 11, 2026
1. General Provisions and Scope
1.1. These Supplemental Terms for Digital Gift Cards ("Gift Card Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and White Market Operations Limited, a company registered in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region ("White.Market", "we", "us", or "our"). These Gift Card Terms act as an addendum to our general Terms of Service (https://white.market/terms-of-use) and apply exclusively to your purchase of third-party Digital Codes, Gift Cards, Prepaid Cards, and Software Keys (collectively, "Digital Content") through the White.Market Platform.
1.2. The version of these Gift Card Terms in effect at the time of your purchase shall govern the transaction and apply to the respective order.
1.3. White.Market operates strictly as an independent, authorized reseller and distributor of the Digital Content. We are not the creator, publisher, or issuer of the underlying Digital Content, games, or gift card funds. All Digital Content is issued and managed by third-party publishers or their authorized financial entities (each, an "Issuer", e.g., Steam, PlayStation, Xbox) and is sourced by us from third-party B2B distributors or wholesalers (each, a "Supplier"). The ultimate responsibility for the functionality and redemption of the Digital Content lies with the Issuer. White.Market’s role is limited to the secure delivery of the Digital Code to your Dashboard.
1.4. White.Market operates strictly as an independent distributor of third-party Digital Content. The Gift Cards and Digital Codes available on our platform are prepaid digital goods issued, managed, and safeguarded exclusively by third-party publishers (such as Steam, PlayStation, or Xbox). Because White.Market acts only as a reseller, the products sold do not represent electronic money, deposits, or regulated financial instruments issued by us. The underlying value of any Gift Card is held entirely by the respective third-party Issuer, and your use of that value is governed solely by the Issuer’s terms and conditions.
1.5. White.Market guarantees the secure delivery of a valid Digital Code to your Order Page. However, the actual use, gameplay, and availability of the underlying software or service are governed entirely by the third-party Issuer (e.g., Steam, Xbox). White.Market is not responsible for the performance, maintenance, or server availability of the Issuer's platform, nor for any subsequent account bans, changes to their terms, or regional restrictions applied by the Issuer after the code has been successfully redeemed.
1.6. White.Market does not offer or sell Digital Content to individuals or entities located in countries or regions subject to comprehensive international sanctions or embargoes (including those administered by the United Nations, the United Kingdom, the European Union, or the United States). By purchasing Digital Content, you represent and warrant that:
you are not located in, a resident of, or under the control of any such restricted jurisdiction;
you are not listed on any restricted party list (such as the UK Sanctions List or the US Specially Designated Nationals List);
you will not transfer or use the Digital Content in violation of applicable export control laws or sanctions. White.Market reserves the right to immediately terminate access and cancel any orders if we suspect a violation of this Section.
2. Delivery and the "Reveal" Mechanic
2.1. All purchases of Digital Content are subject to inventory availability and successful real-time synchronization with our third-party B2B suppliers. Upon placing an order, the required purchase amount may be temporarily held or frozen on your White.Market balance. The final charge and completion of the order only occur upon our system’s successful retrieval of the Digital Code from the supplier.
2.2. Delivery of the Digital Content is deemed legally and fully completed at the exact moment the Digital Code is electronically transmitted to and made accessible within your White.Market User Dashboard (Order Page).
2.3. For your protection and to prevent unauthorized viewing, the Digital Code is obscured (hidden) by default upon delivery. You may access the code at your discretion by manually clicking the designated "Reveal" button on the Order Page.
2.4. In certain instances, delivery may be delayed or fail entirely due to API timeouts, third-party server maintenance, or unexpected out-of-stock situations at the supplier level. If White.Market is unable to deliver the Digital Content within a reasonable timeframe, your order will be automatically canceled, and any frozen or held funds will be fully released or refunded to your account balance.
2.5. White.Market shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages, missed opportunities, or compensation claims arising from delivery delays, order cancellations, or temporary unavailability of Digital Content.
3. Refund Policy and Final Sale
3.1. Due to the immediate and digital nature of the products, all sales are considered final and non-refundable once the Digital Code has been revealed or the Digital Content has been accessed, except as expressly provided in Section 3.5 regarding defective codes.
3.2. If the Digital Code remains hidden on your Order Page and the "Reveal" button has not been clicked, you may cancel the transaction and receive a full refund within 24 hours of the purchase. This process is handled automatically through the platform's interface or via Customer Support.
3.3. If a refund request for the unrevealed Digital Code is made after the 24-hour window, White.Market will initiate a verification ticket with the Supplier. A refund will only be processed if the Supplier confirms the code is valid, unredeemed, and eligible for return. This verification process may take up to 14 business days. White.Market is not liable for delays caused by the Supplier’s internal verification procedures.
As White.Market is a reseller, any refund or replacement for such unrevealed Digital Code is strictly subject to the Supplier's investigation. White.Market reserves the right to deny the request if the Supplier’s return window has expired or the return is rejected by the Supplier.
3.4. Digital Content has no monetary or cash value. Unless required by applicable law in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Digital Content cannot be redeemed for cash, reloaded, returned for a cash refund, or transferred to other accounts. The unauthorized commercial resale of Digital Content purchased on White.Market is strictly prohibited.
3.5. If you experience an issue with a revealed Digital Code (e.g., an error during activation), you agree to first follow the "Defective Codes" procedure outlined in Section 6 by contacting our Customer Support. As White.Market is a reseller, any refund or replacement for a revealed code is strictly subject to the Supplier's investigation and official confirmation of a pre-existing defect.
3.6. You are solely responsible for verifying that your hardware, platform account, and geographical region are compatible with the Digital Content before revealing the code. White.Market shall not be liable, and no refunds or eligible replacements will be issued, if a Digital Code cannot be redeemed due to:
regional restrictions or mismatches between the product's designated region and your account settings;
your use of Virtual Private Networks (VPN), proxies, or any other methods intended to bypass regional locks or IP-based restrictions;
any account-level bans or limitations imposed by the Issuer.
4. Risk of Loss
4.1. The risk of loss and title for the Digital Content fully pass to you upon the electronic transmission of the code to your registered White.Market User Dashboard (Order Page). This transfer occurs regardless of whether you have clicked the "Reveal" button yet.
4.2. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your White.Market account credentials. White.Market is not responsible, and will not issue refunds or replacement codes, if any Digital Code is lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without your permission as a result of unauthorized access to your White.Market Account.
4.3. Once you reveal a Digital Code, you bear complete responsibility for its safe storage and immediate redemption. White.Market assumes no liability for codes that are intercepted, compromised, or redeemed by unauthorized third parties due to malware, phishing scams, or negligence on your end after the code has been revealed.
5. Third-Party Terms and Compatibility
5.1. All Digital Content is issued and operated by third-party publishers or platforms (e.g., Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Origin). Your redemption, usage, and enjoyment of the Digital Content are governed exclusively by the respective third-party Issuer’s terms, conditions, and end-user license agreements.
5.2. You are solely responsible for maintaining your third-party platform accounts in good standing. White.Market is not liable, and will not provide refunds, if a valid Digital Code cannot be redeemed—or if your third-party account is suspended, banned, or penalized—due to your violation of the Issuer’s rules. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), proxies, or other methods to bypass geo-blocking or regional restrictions during activation.
5.3. While White.Market endeavors to offer "Region Free" or "Global" Digital Content, true global compatibility may be limited by publisher-specific exclusions, international trade sanctions, or localized IP blocks. Furthermore, it is solely your responsibility to verify that your hardware meets the minimum system requirements for the software and that you are purchasing the correct version for your console or device. White.Market is not responsible for any Digital Content that is successfully revealed and delivered but proves incompatible with your hardware, region, or operating system.
5.4. Digital Content and Gift Cards may be subject to expiration dates or validity periods established independently by the third-party Issuer. White.Market strongly recommends redeeming your revealed Digital Code immediately upon receipt. We are not liable for, and will not refund or replace, any Digital Code that has expired or become invalid due to a delay in your redemption following successful delivery.
6. Defective Codes
6.1. White.Market acts solely as an authorized reseller. In the rare event that a revealed Digital Code is proven to be invalid or "already redeemed" prior to your purchase, you must report the issue to White.Market Customer Support strictly within 72 hours of the delivery date. Claims reported outside of this timeframe may be more difficult to verify with the Supplier.
6.2. To initiate an investigation, you must provide sufficient evidence of the defect as requested by our Support Team. You must fully cooperate and provide comprehensive evidence within 48 hours of our Support team's request. This evidence must include, but is not limited to:
The White.Market Order ID and the exact Digital Code in question.
Clear, unedited, full-screen screenshots of the exact error message received during the activation attempt.
Screenshots of your third-party platform’s redemption history or library (e.g., Steam License History).
In some cases, official confirmation from the third-party Issuer’s customer support (e.g., Steam Support) stating the exact date and time the code was redeemed.
Failure to provide the requested evidence renders the investigation impossible, as Suppliers require this data for technical verification.
6.3. Timely submission of evidence is strictly required to escalate disputes to our Suppliers. If you are unable to provide the requested screenshots or documentation within the specified 48-hour window, we will be unable to proceed with the investigation. Consequently, your claim will be automatically closed, and no refund or replacement will be issued.
6.4. Because White.Market does not generate the Digital Codes, all defective code claims must be escalated to our Suppliers for technical verification. This investigation process may take up to 14 business days from the moment all required evidence is provided by you.
6.5. A refund or replacement code will only be issued if the Supplier officially confirms in writing that a technical defect existed prior to the sale. Consistent with Section 3.5, the Supplier’s investigation and their technical logs are the final authority in determining the validity of the Digital Code. Your claim will be denied if the Supplier provides evidence that the code was functional at the time of delivery, was activated after the "Reveal" action was logged, or if the investigation otherwise fails to confirm a pre-existing fault. The decision resulting from the Supplier’s investigation is final and binding.
7. Fraud Prevention
7.1. To ensure a secure environment and comply with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) standards, White.Market employs strict fraud monitoring systems. We reserve the right to temporarily hold any Digital Content order for manual review. During this review, we may require you to provide additional identity verification (KYC), proof of address, or payment method verification before the Digital Code is delivered or the "Reveal" button is unlocked. If you fail or refuse to provide the requested verification within a reasonable timeframe, your order will be canceled, and the funds will be returned to your original payment method.
7.2. To mitigate the risk of fraudulent velocity attacks, White.Market reserves the right to impose dynamic daily, weekly, or monthly purchasing limits on Digital Content. These limits may vary based on your account history, verification status, and the type of Digital Content being purchased.
7.3. White.Market strictly prohibits the use of stolen payment methods, unauthorized accounts, or any deceptive practices to acquire Digital Content. If we reasonably suspect that a Digital Code was purchased fraudulently, unlawfully, or in violation of these Terms, we reserve the right to:
Cancel the order without notice;
Suspend or permanently terminate your White.Market account;
Work with the third-party Issuer or our B2B suppliers to deactivate, void, or revoke the fraudulently obtained Digital Code, even if it has already been revealed or redeemed.
7.4. Engaging in "friendly fraud" (e.g., falsely claiming an order was unauthorized or an item was not delivered after successfully revealing a valid code) will result in an immediate and permanent ban from the White.Market Platform. We actively dispute fraudulent chargebacks using account activity logs, IP addresses, and your explicit consent records gathered during the "Reveal" process.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
8.1. These Gift Card Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
8.2. Before filing any legal claim or formal dispute, you agree to first attempt to resolve the issue informally by contacting White.Market Customer Support. You agree to give us a minimum of 30 days from the date of your initial ticket to investigate and resolve the matter before pursuing any external legal or regulatory remedies.
8.3. Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Gift Card Terms or their subject matter.
8.4. Nothing in these Gift Card Terms shall limit or exclude White.Market’s liability for any matter that cannot be limited or excluded by applicable law. Subject to the foregoing, White.Market’s total liability for any claim arising out of your purchase shall not exceed the total price paid for the specific order. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data or loss of profit.
8.5. If any provision of these Gift Card Terms is held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent such that the remaining provisions of the Terms will continue in full force and effect.
9. Force Majeure
9.1. White.Market is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including, but not limited to, technical failures of third-party platforms or suppliers, API synchronization errors, or internet service provider outages.
For any legal notices, disputes, or inquiries regarding these Terms, please contact us via email at [email protected].
